He used the original Cry Baby Wah to sling the syrupy grooves on numerous funk recordings, including the slow-groove classic “Just Kissed My Baby.” Dressed in deep purple, flashy gold and cash-money green with a custom fleur-de-lis tread, the Cry Baby Mardi Gras Wah features a lowered frequency range to deliver that same vocalic warmth in proper New Orleans style.
