ACT Entertainment has released its ProCo Lil’ Rat, the latest distortion pedal from the company’s Rat Distortion line. Featuring rear-mounted power and audio jacks, the Lil’ Rat is designed with the same controls and tone as the classic Rat 2 distortion pedal, but measures just 2 inches wide. With its compact size, the Lil’ Rat conserves priceless pedalboard real estate and provides full-sized Rat pedal tones, attack and sustain.
The Lekholm DM48X is a MIDI wind controller in the form of a chromatic harmonica. Suitable for harmonica players or anyone who wants an expressive alternative to the MIDI keyboard, the DM48X has 12 independent sensors that detect positive and negative pressure. With a built-in tuning editor for custom scales, it also lets users control and modulate using their breath plus the configurable ribbon controller. Three buttons are configurable as sliders for quick transposition or as MIDI control keys for other modulation possibilities. The DM48X can be pairid with an iOS device or connect to a computer via USB or Bluetooth.
