With the jazz department at Warner Bros. dissolving, pianist Brad Mehldau now finds himself on Nonesuch Records. It did not take him long to make an impression at the label, as his Sept. 14 release of Brad Mehldau Live In Tokyo offers a brilliant solo recital, with repertoire that includes tunes from Gershwin, Monk, Nick Drake and Radiohead.

In support of the album, Mehlday will be on the road for a lot of the fall. Dates are as follows:
