Anat Cohen Fall Tour Announced

Clarinetist Anat Cohen will embark on a cross-country tour Sunday, which includes a six-day residency at New York’s Jazz Standard and dates in Seattle, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.

The tour follows a string of accolades this year for the Israeli musician, including a Clarinetist of the Year award from the Jazz Journalists Association and a Rising Star Clarinetist nod in this year’s DownBeat Critics Poll.

The tour dates are as follows:

Sept. 9—Clarendon Ballroom—Arlington, Va.

Sept. 16—The Sylvan Theatre on National Mall—Washington, D.C.

Sept. 29-30—Lotus World Music and Arts Festival—Bloomington, Ind.

Oct. 17—Regattabar - Charles Hotel—Cambridge, Mass.

Oct. 25—Poncho Concert Hall—Seattle, Wash.

Oct. 27—Florence Gould Theatre—San Francisco, Calif.

Oct. 30-Nov. 4—The Jazz Standard—New York, N.Y.

Nov. 10—Chris Jazz Café—Philadelphia, Pa.

Nov. 28-Dec. 1—Jazz At The Bistro—St. Louis, Mo.

Dec. 7—The Blue Note—Columbia, Mo.
