“I’ve always wanted to make something bigger than just my own music and that can relate to my father’s legacy,” Ibrahim Maalouf says of playing his father’s invention, the four-valve trumpet.

“I can talk from the perspective of other parents and what it would be like,” Monika Herzig notes of advocating for her transgender son through music. “So let me do that. That’s the voice I can share.”
