Arkestra Veterans To Recall Sun Ra Days In Chicago

Original members of Sun Ra’s Arkestra will get together to talk about the intergalactic traveler’s 1950s and ‘60s Chicago years.

The symposium will be held on Dec. 3 at 3:00 at the Chicago Cultural Center, 77 E. Randolph, in downtown Chicago. Participants include musicians Robert Barry, Art Hoyle, Ricky Murray, Hattie Randolph and Lucious Randolph, as well as moderator John Corbett. A performance of Sun Ra compositions will follow the discussion.
