Bassist Victor Wooten’s Heads Up debut, Palmstery, will be released April 1, 2008. Wooten’s range of styles – jazz, funk, pop, soul, gospel, world music – are coupled with guest artists including Mike Stern, Richard Bona, Keb’ Mo’ and others.

Concurrent with the CD release, “The Music Lesson,” Wooten’s novel about a struggling young musician who is unexpectedly visited by a mystic music teacher who guides him through a spiritual journey of higher education in both music and life.
