Chicago Foundation Debuts Masterclass Series

  I

The PianoForte Foundation in Chicago will present four piano masterclasses in conjunction with its 2007-‘08 Jazz Salon concert series.

The sessions will precede select Saturday afternoon concerts, and they will feature artists slated to perform on those shows. The masterclass lineup consists of Jean-Michel Pilc (Sept. 15), Michael Kocour (Nov. 10), Corky Siegel (Feb. 9) and Anthony Molinaro with Howard Levy (March 1).

Admission to each class is $10, or free with the purchase of a ticket to that artist’s concert. Jazz Salon concert tickets are $25, or $15 for students.

For more information, including a full Jazz Salon lineup, see pianofortefoundation.org.
