Refurbished footage of the 1962 Newport Jazz Festival will be released on DVD by Music Video Distributors and Quantum Leap.

Newport Jazz Festival – 1962 contains footage of artists like Count Basie, Pee Wee Russell, Ruby Braff, Roland Kirk, Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk and Oscar Peterson. DVD extras include performance selections, biographies and discographies for featured artists.

With 60 total minutes of footage from Ford Adams State Park, the film retails for $19.95 and will be on shelves Dec. 2.
