Concord To Release Corea–Fleck Full-Length In May

Concord Records will release The Enchantment, the first-ever full length album collaboration from jazz pianist Chick Corea and banjo player Béla Fleck on May 22.

The 11-track album features four compositions by Corea, six by Fleck and a cover of the standard “Brazil.”

While The Enchantment marks the duo’s first full-length release, their partnership dates to 1994, when Fleck invited Corea to play on the Flecktones’ Tales From The Acoustic Planet and Live Art. The two collaborated again with Corea’s 2001 Rendezvous In New York DVD as well as a tour as a duo.
