Connick Set For Two New Releases

  I

Harry Connick Jr. has two new albums set for release: Oh, My NOLA and Chanson Du Vieux Carré, on Columbia Records and Marsalis Music, respectively.

Oh, My NOL A features Connick on 16 vocal tracks, including four original compositions, while the all-instrumental Chanson Du Vieux Carré focuses on Connick’s piano arrangements backed by the sounds of his big band.

A portion of Connick’s royalties from both albums, plus 100 percent of his royalties from the single “All These People” off Oh, My NOLA, will benefit the New Orleans Habitat Musicians’ Village, a project conceived by Connick and Branford Marsalis.
