CTA Records’ ‘Timeless’ Release From Dayna Stephens

CTA Records will release A Timeless Now, the debut album from tenor saxophonist Dayna Stephens, on May 15.

Stephens, who penned seven of the album’s nine tracks, is joined by guitarist John Scofield, pianist Taylor Eigsti, bassist Ben Street and drummer Eric Harland.

After graduating Berklee College of Music in Boston Stephens was selected to study at the University of Southern California’s Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz, where he studied and played with the likes of Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Dave Holland and Mark Turner.
