Trumpeter Dave Douglas’ Greenleaf Music will launch its online store with the upcoming release of eight sets of music from Dave Douglas and Keystone, to be recorded April 11–13 at the Jazz Standard in New York.

These live recordings will include more than 30 original compositions culled from Freak In, Keystone and Moonshine, as well as unrecorded material, to be available for download purchase within 24 hours of each night’s performances.

Greenleaf Music has signed two new artists to its label, tenor saxophonist Donny McCaslin and bassist Michael Bates. McCaslin has recorded a tenor saxophone trio disc for the label, and will be touring in its support. Bates’ quartet disc was produced by Douglas and features trumpeter Russ Johnson, saxophonist/clarinetist Quinson Nachoff and drummer Jeff Davis.
