Dave Douglas Plans New Keystone Album

Dave Douglas’ Keystone band will follow up its 2005’s Grammy-nominated Keystone with Moonshine. Preorder for the album begins on Nov. 6.

Moonshine combines the band’s live sound and neo-psychedelic post-production. The nine new Douglas compositions offers a new take on improvised electro-jazz.

Keystone is composed of Dave Douglas on trumpet, Marcus Strickland on saxophones, Adam Benjamin on Fender Rhodes, Brad Jones on the Ampeg Baby bass, Gene Lake on drums,and DJ Olive on turntables.
