DownBeat Contributing Photographer Weintrob Art Show Benefits New Orleans Musician Clinic

  I

On Thursday, Oct. 25, Good Thoughts Printing Studio and the Guitar Cellar in Boulder, Colo, will open a new photography exhibit featuring the work of music photographer and DownBeat contributor Michael Weintrob. The opening reception runs from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. at the Guitar Cellar, which is located on the Boulder’s Hill.

The items exhibited, which will be on display and available for purchase through Nov. 1, span over a decade of Weintrob’s photography. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of photos will go to benefit The New Orleans Musician Clinic. In collaboration with LSU Healthcare Network and Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans, The New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic provides access to health and social welfare services for the local music community. Since 1998, NOMC has played a pivotal role in sustaining the health of New Orleans musicians. As housing, family and financial challenges continue, we strive to remain a core resource for the music community. From providing medical services to funding gigs, their response to the needs of musicians knows no boundaries.
