Grammy Salute to Jazz Honors Blue Note

On Feb. 3, the Grammy Salute to Jazz will pay tribute to Blue Note Records as the label celebrates its 70th anniversary. The celebration will be at Club Nokia at L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.

Hosted by Natalie Cole, the evening will include performances by Blue Note recording artists Joe Lovano and Cassandra Wilson. They will be joined by the GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles, a group of 30 high school musicians selected from across the country.

The Grammy Salute To Jazz event is part of GRAMMY Week, a week-long celebration of music and the recorded arts leading up to the 51st Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 8, broadcast live from Staples Center on CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
