More than 70,000 people from across the globe will make their way to Eilat, Israel in August for the 17th annual Red Sea Jazz Festival.

The festival has maintained a “jazz only” policy through the years, focusing their booking on anything from New Orleans to acid. They also try to bring in an international selection of groups.

The 30 acts on the bill this year include The Charles Lloyd Quartet, Tim Garland and The Electric Band, The Bad Plus, Russell Gunn’s Ethnomusicology, and Erik Truffaz.

Events will occur Aug. 25–28 in locations around the city.
