Collier will touch down at DC JazzFest at The Anthem on Aug. 30 as part of the festival’s 20th anniversary celebration. He will join Samara Joy in her return performance and team up with D-Nice for a dance party highlighting his multi-genre dynamic.
For this DC JazzFest appearance, Collier’s immense musical artistry will be on full display as he performs his sensational Djesse Vol. 4 Solo Show, a one-man audio-visual experience.

DC JazzFest at The Wharf, the festival’s signature event, will be held over Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 31–Sept. 1. The multi-stage blowout will be hosted at The District Wharf, a waterfront destination with an enticing assemblage of restaurants, artful shops and great river views, with indoor performances at Union Stage and Arena Stage.
The largest jazz festival in the Mid-Atlantic region, the 2024 DC JazzFest will feature a citywide lineup of artists from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1.
In addition to Collier, Joy and D-Nice, this year’s performers include Kenny Barron, Dianne Reeves with John Beasley, Bill Frisell, Bobby Sanabria’s Multiverse Big Band, Cimafunk, Emmet Cohen featuring Houston Person, Carmen Lundy, Brandee Younger, Kris Davis’ Diatom Ribbons, Corcoran Holt, Michael Thomas Quintet, Amy K. Bormet Trio, New Jazz Underground, Nasar Abadey and Supernova, Chuck Brown Band, Muneer Nasser Quintet, Reginald Cyntje Stephen Arnold & Sea Change, BJ Simmons, a Sonny Stitt Centennial Celebration and the 2024 DCJazzPrix Finals.
