Ken Vandermark Launches North American Tour

Saxophonist Ken Vandermark’s Vandermark 5 quintet will hit 11 cities across North America in February in support of its recent disc, A Discontinuous Line (Atavistic).

The group will perform at the Turf Club in St. Paul, Minn., on Feb. 6, Chicago’s Velvet Lounge on Feb. 7, Detroit’s Bohemian National Home on Feb. 8, The Music Gallery in Toronto on Feb. 9, Zaphod Beeblebrox in Ottawa on Feb. 10, Montreal’s La Sala Rossa on Feb. 11, Johnny D’s in Sommerville, Mass., on Feb. 13, Piano’s in New York on Feb. 14, Union Hall in New York on Feb. 15, Jammin’ Java in Vienna, Va., on Feb. 16 and the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Feb. 17.
