Koch Records has formed a new jazz/adult division. Artists on its roster include Earl Klugh, Bob James, Jean-Luc Ponty, Michael Franks, Marcus Miller and Oleta Adams. Chuck Mitchell, former president of Verve, will run the division.

“With artists such as Bob James, Earl Klugh and Michael Franks, a superb foundation has been set to build a winning franchise in jazz and adult music,” Mitchell said. “I’m looking forward to making contributions that will bring Koch to a leadership position in a consistently challenging market.”
