Marsalis Quartet To Tour

  I

Following the release of his Blue Note debut, The Magic Hour, Wynton Marsalis will tour with his quartet for the first time since the late ‘80s.

The album—its title refers to what Marsalis believes, for children, is the hour before they go to bed and, for adults, the hour after the children fall asleep—will hit stores on March 9. Bobby McFerrin and Dianne Reeves make guest appearances.

The eastern-U.S. tour runs from April 1–28 and features Marsalis on trumpet, Carlos Henriquez on bass, Ali Jackson on drums and Eric Lewis on piano.
