McCoy Tyner Trio to Tour With Savion Glover

McCoy Tyner will team up with tap-dancer Savion Glover for their first tour.

Las September, Tyner released Quartet, a live recording and the first on his new label, McCoy Tyner Music. Glover has continued his production of a show he calls “Classical Savion.”

The tour will feature Tyner on piano, Glover, bassist Gerald Cannon and drummer Eric Kamau Gravatt.

Feb. 21: Jefferson Center, Roanoke, Va.
Feb. 23: Camden Center, Camden, N.J.
Feb. 24: Kennedy Center, Washington, D.C.
Feb. 28: University of Buffalo, Buffalo, N.Y.
Feb. 29: Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank, N.J.
March 2: Grand Opera House, Wilmington, Del.
March 7: The Egg, Albany, N.Y.
March 8: Paramount Center For The Arts, Peekskill, N.Y.
March 14: SF JAZZ, San Francisco
