Moran Headlines JazzReach Benefit

On May 14, the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York will host a benefit for JazzReach Performing Arts & Education Association. The event will include a three course gourmet dinner and a performance by pianist and Blue Note Recording Artist, Jason Moran and his trio Bandwagon, featuring bassist Tarus Mateen and drummer Nasheet Waits

All Proceeds from the event will directly benefit JazzReach’s committed endeavors in ar ts education.

Tickets are $125 which includes table seating, a three course gourmet dinner, one complimentary drink and the performance. Pre-Paid reservations must be made by calling the Blue Note Reservation Line at (212) 475-8592

Established by musician, H. Benjamin Schuman in 1994, JazzReach is a nationally recognized Brooklyn-based not-for-profit organization that is committed to enriching the lives of young people through the presentation of engaging, high quality, all-original educational outreach programs. The objectives of these programs are to foster a greater awareness and appreciation of jazz and its significant place in American hi story and world culture.

Doors for the event open at 6 p.m. Dinner is at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m.
