Musicians’ Royalties Unclaimed On SoundExchange

  I

SoundExchange, the nonprofit performing rights organization, has collected a list of musicians who are due uncollected royalties. Jazz performers who have until Dec. 15 to claim their money include Ornette Coleman, Joe Lovano, Eliane Elias, Joanne Brackeen and Jimmy Giuffre.

These royalties were collected from services that made digital transmissions of copyrighted sound recordings pursuant to statutory license between Feb. 1, 1996, and March 31, 2000, and first distributed by SoundExchange in Nov. 2001.
