Pat Martino On Tour Playing Wes Montgomery’s Songbook

Guitarist Pat Martino will be celebrating the release of his new album, Remember – A Tribute To Wes Montgomery with a series of concerts with his quartet performing selections from the album, as well as of his chart-topping hits.

Martino utilizes his ntimate knowledge of Wes Montgomery’s music to demonstrate what it truly means to “get inside” another musician’s head & heart. The band that accompanies the guitarist includes pianist David Kikoski, bassist John Patitucci, drummer Scott Allan Robinson, and percussionist Danny Sadownick, covering such Montgomery classics as “Four on Six,” “Full House,” & “West Coast Blues.”

The CD will hit stores on April 4, and the tour will kick off on March 30 at Yoshi’s in Oakland, Calif., before moving on to venues in La Jolla, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York and Houston; coming to an end on June 25 in Washington, D.C.
