PBS Series To Feature Tony Bennett

PBS’ acclaimed series “American Masters” will feature singer Tony Bennett next week.

“Tony Bennett: The Music Never Ends” will premiere at 9 p.m. EST on Wednesday (check local listings). The film chronicles and celebrates Bennett’s life, featuring the songs, people and stories that have made him who he is. It features interviews with Harry Belafonte and Mel Brooks; performances of “Old Devil Moon,” and “In A Mellow  Tone”; and classic clips from “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson,” among other material.

The special is narrated by Anthony Hopkins, and it is produced by Clint Eastwood and Bruce Ricker in association with RPM Productions and Thirteen/WNET New York.
