Purdie, Mance To Host A Night Of R&B

The New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York will host a night of rhythm & blues at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola on Dec. 18. Drummer Bernard “Pretty” Purdie will open the concert with his revue of New School musicians. Afterwards, Junior Mance will perform a set of original blues songs with New School jazz students and faculty.
