Ravi Coltrane, David Sanchez To Play The Blue Note In April

“Tenor Madness” will take over the Blue Note in New York for six nights, April 10–15, as Ravi Coltrane leads his own group for the first time at the venue on a double bill with David Sanchez.

Coltrane’s quartet also includes Luis Perdomo on piano, Drew Gress on bass and E.J. Strickland on drums. Guitarist Lage Lund, bassist Ben Street and drummer Adam Cruz round out Sanchez’s quartet.

Shows are at 8:00 p.m. 10:30 p.m., nightly, and tickets are $20–$30.
