Vocalist Nancy Wilson will help raise funds to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS at a benefit on Dec. 6.

Hosted by actress Lynn Whitfield, “A Holiday Evening At The Waldorf With Nancy Wilson” will take place on the Starlight Roof at New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel. For $1,200 a ticket, the evening features a reception, a performance by Wilson featuring a tribute to Lena Horne and an after party.

The proceeds from the event will go to The Balm In Gilead Inc., a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that uses education and emotional support to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in the African Diaspora.

Other celebrities supporting the event include Paul Newman and Dr. Sheila Crump, BET’s co-founder.

For ticket information, call (212) 730-7381.
