Telarc to Release Tyner Collection

Over the course of five years, pianist McCoy Tyner recorded a series of strong albums that spanned a wide stylistic range for the Cleveland-based Telarc label. On Nov. 13, Telarc will release Afro Blue, which features eight tracks culled from the five albums Tyner recorded for the label.

Tyner’s Telarc output included McCoy Tyner And The Latin Jazz All-Stars in 1999, McCoy Tyner With Stanley Clarke And Al Foster (2000),Jazz Roots (2000), Land Of Giants (2003) and Illuminations (2004).
