Terence Blanchard To Perform At New York Retailer

Trumpeter Terence Blanchard will make a special appearance Sept. 15 at J&R Music and Computer World in New York, the store has announced.

Blanchard will perform and sign autographs as part of J&R’s WBGO Live Radio Remote. The event will be broadcast live on WBGO-FM Jazz 88.3 starting at 2 p.m. The performance will start at 4 p.m. on the second floor of the store, located downtown at 23 Park Row.

Blanchard’s latest album, A Tale Of God’s Will, which served as the soundtrack for Spike Lee’s HBO documentary When The Levees Broke, was released Aug. 14.
