Hurricane Katrina has devasted the New Orleans music community. Right now, musicians need support, as they are spread across the country. One day, hopefully, they will get back to their home city. But in the mean time, they need instruments, gigs, transportation and so much more.

The following organizations are recommended if you would like to support the New Orleans music community.

Jazz Foundation of America: www.jazzfoundation.org

MusiCares Foundation: www.grammy.com/musicares

New Orleans Musicians Clinic: www.wwoz.org/clinic

Preservation Hall: www.preservationhall.com
