Collector’s Choice to Reissue Peggy Lee Albums

  I

This year is the 50th anniversary of Peggy Lee’s recording of “Fever,” and Collectors’ Choice is releasing a series to cover the not-yet-reissued-on-CD section of her Capitol catalog.

The two-CD set The Lost ‘40s And ‘50s Capitol Masters covers all the rare and unreleased sides and singles from that time period that have yet to see the digital light of day. The other three CDs – All Aglow Again!, Make It With You/Where Did They Go, and Then Was Then, Now Is Now/Bridge Over Troubled Water – delve into Lee’s ‘60s and ‘70s album discography and feature five albums plus unreleased bonus tracks.

Each CD features fresh liner notes. The May 27 release date comes a day after what would have been Lee’s 88th birthday.
