The jazzahead! trade fair, which runs April 25–28 in Bremen, Germany, has a spate of events planned to help musicians and industry folks navigate the 21st century.

Several panels on marketing are set for this year at Messe Bremen, including a noon April 26 discussion helmed by Nikolas Schriefer, of Stagelink, who’s set to present ideas about how musicians can better engage the digital era. At 1:10 p.m. the same day, Canadian TV station Stingray DJazz is set to host a panel detailing the nuances of digital assets—audio, photos and video. Dutch producer Hans Bellens, of the Evil Penguin imprint, is a planned participant. And on April 27, Auand Records’ Marco Valente will discuss the possibility of forming a European coalition of labels.

While online registration for jazzahead! has ended, attendees still can register in person at the event. For more information on the festival and trade show, visit the jazzahead! website. DB
