ECM Records continues to issue albums from performers who have distinguished themselves as unique composers and improvisers.

But it’s difficult to keep tabs on the label’s busy release schedule, so the latest DownBeat playlist culls new works from Trygve Seim, Barre Phillips, Marcin Wasilewski and the collaboration between Ethan Iverson and Mark Turner. Have at it. DB
