Concerts Swing Through Chicago’s Millennium Park

CHICAGO, ILL.—The “Made In Chicago: Home Cooked Jazz” concert series will feature local artists paying tribute to jazz legends at one of the city’s hottest outdoor music venues.

The program features five Thursday evening concerts at Milennium Park’s Jay Pritzker Pavilion, to run July 26–Aug. 23. A sixth concert, on Aug. 27, kicks off “Jazz Week,” culminating with the Chicago Jazz Festival, which takes place Aug. 30–Sept. 2.

Featured concerts at the “Made In Chicago” series include the Great Black Music Ensemble’s “Tribute to Fletcher Henderson,” Dave Specter’s Chicago Blues/Jazz Summit, and Muhal Richard Abrams and Reginald Robinson’s “Legends and Lions: Ragtime and Beyond.”
