Firehouse 12 Announces Fall Schedule

Firehouse 12—a bar, recording studio and music venue located in the historic Ninth Square District of New Haven, Conn.—will launch its third annual Fall Jazz Series on Sept. 21.

The Friday night series opens with a solo performance by internationally renowned cellist Erik Friedlander in support of his new CD, Block Ice & Propane (Skipstone). The venue will continue to present jazz and improvised music concerts through mid-December. (No concert will be presented Nov. 23 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.) All performances will include sets at 8:30 and 10 p.m. Tickets will be $15 for the opening set and $10 for the second set. Tickets will be available online at firehouse12.com, by phone at (203) 785-0468 or at the box office beginning at 7 p.m. the night of the show (subject to availability). A season pass for both sets of every show is available for $150 until Sept. 21.
