The Lansing Old Town JazzFest, which will take place in the first weekend of August, features Mose Allison as this year’s headliner.

The annual festival takes place in the historic Old Town district of Lansing, Mich., featuring more than 20 musical acts and hosting more than 15,000 people each year. Grammy-nominated pianist Allison will be joined by an array of mid-Michigan musicians, including Too Smooth for Notes with Phil Denny, the Lanswingers, the Lansing All Stars, vibraphonist Jim Cooper and Koke McKesson and Sunkwa.

The festival is free to all attendees, and it will be presented Aug. 3-4. For more information, visit www.jazzlansing.com.
