Riverside Profiles To Highlight Label’s History

On Nov. 7, Riverside Records, now an imprint of the Concord Music Group, will release a compilation series of the jazz legends who were signed to the label in the 1950s and 1960s. These new collections will be overviews of Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, Chet Baker, Cannonball Adderley and Wes Montgomery.

“Riverside was the home to many of the most important jazz artists of the ‘50s and ‘60s, and arguably of all time,” said the compilations’ producer Nick Phillips. “It was especially thrilling for me to delve into the masterworks of these giants.”
