B.B. King’s To Host Jazzreach Benefit Concert

New York’s B.B. King’s Blues Club will host Bruce Hornsby, Christian McBride and Jack DeJohnette together for two shows as a trio on May 23, with all of the evening’s proceeds going toward Jazzreach.

Jazzreach is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, performance, creation and teaching of jazz music. Through the presentation of live multi-media educational programs for young audiences, the commissioning, recording and performance of new works and informative clinics and master-classes for student musicians, JazzReach commits itself to fostering a greater appreciation, awareness and understanding of jazz.

General admission tickets are $50 in advance, $55 the day of the show. A limited number of VIP tickets will be available at $100, which include priority seating and a post-show meet-the-artist reception. Tickets can be purchased at the B.B. King’s box office, 237 W. 42nd Street, or through Ticketmaster.
