Drummer Billy Cobham is featured in the upcoming documentary film, Sonic Mirror, which is scheduled for release in early 2007.
Finnish director Mika Kaurismaki followed Cobham on a musical tour of Switzerland, Brazil, Finland and the United States. The resulting movie portrays the drummer exploring his own roots in New York and interacting with musicians in each of the countries he visits.
Peplowski first came to prominence in legacy swing bands, including the final iteration of the Benny Goodman Orchestra, before beginning a solo career in the late 1980s.
