Drummer Billy Martin and keyboardist John Medeski (two-thirds of Medeski, Martin and Wood) perform as a duo on the upcoming disc, Mago (Amulet). The disc is slated for a May release.

“What I remember about our first duet session was that Medeski would go anywhere, musically, no matter how unusual or challenging,” Martin said. “He was right there with me and ready to humbly serve the music we make together.”
