Elmhurst College Jazz Festival Kicks Off Thursday

The Maria Schneider Orchestra is set to play the Elmhurst College Jazz Festival at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24.

The 51st annual Elmhurst College Jazz Festival is set to begin Thursday, Feb. 22.

Based in Elmhurst, Illinois, just west of Chicago, the school has scheduled performances Thursday through Sunday with acts like the Maria Schneider Orchestra and Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra.

A free clinic set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday will be hosted by Sean Jones, Jiggs Whigham and Matt Wilson.
