Italy Welcomes International Jazz Stars To Vicenza

Vicenza, Italy, will be alive with the sounds of jazz May 12–19 as the town hosts the 12th New Conversations – Vicenza Jazz festival.

Artists including Carla Bley, Anthony Braxton-William Parker Duo, Abdullah Ibrahim, Dee Dee Bridgewater, the William Parker Octet with Amiri Baraka, the Schlippenbach-Lovens-Parker Trio, the Ray Mantilla Space Station and many others will perform at venues like the Palladian Teatro Olimpico, Auditorium Canneti and Jazz Café Trivellato.

The festival also includes various other special events including art and photo exhibitions, lectures, street concerts and tribute concerts.
