JVC Jazz Festival, Newport Announces Headliners

One of the world’s most celebrated jazz events, JVC Jazz Festival – Newport, has unveiled its main acts.

The festival, which will be held from Friday, Aug. 11 through Sunday, Aug. 13, will feature the John Pizzarelli Big Band, Jane Monheit, George Benson, Dave Brubeck’s quartet and George Wein & The Newport All-Stars. Other headliners include Arturo Sandoval, Robert Glasper, Luciana Souza, Chris Botti and Andy Bey. Concerts will be held in various locations, primarily The Newport Casino and Fort Adams State Park.
