New Bill Evans DVD To Be Released

A DVD featuring rarely seen performances of The Bill Evans Trio will be released on Jan. 30.

The DVD, The Oslo Concerts (Shanachie), features two performances. A 1966 show features the pianist with bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Alex Riel. The second concert is a 1980 date with bassist Mark Johnson and drummer Joe LaBarera. An interview with Evans is also included on the DVD.
