Basie Ork to Play Ella Benefit

On Friday, Feb. 10, Patti Austin and the Count Basie Orchestra will perform a benefit concert: For Ella: A Musical Tribute to the Legendary Ella Fitzgerald at Carnegie Hall. The proceeds will go to Building with Books and the New York Therapeutic Riding Centers. Part of the Whiteweld Foundation Concert Series, promoting the health, education, and welfare of children through out the world.
