Bassist Egan Releases As We Speak , Tours With Coryell

Bassist Mark Egan has released a new trio disc, As We Speak (Wavetone), and is embarking on a tour with guitarist Larry Coryell.

Egan, known for his work in the Pat Metheny Band, leads a group with guitarist John Abercrombie and drummer Danny Gottlieb on As We Speak . The confirmed dates for his tour with Coryell are at NightTown in Cleveland, Ohio, on Oct. 4, The Thirsty Ear in Columbus Ohio on Oct. 5 and the Hyatt in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Oct. 6.
