Batiste/Imani Winds to Play Merkin

The Merkin Concert Hall’s Musically Speaking series continues with a show featuring New Orleans pianist Jonathan Batiste and Imani Winds on May 7 at 8 p.m.

The Imani Winds will perform pianist Jason Moran’s composition “Cane,” for the first time on a New York stage, along with works by Wayne Shorter and Lalo Schifrin. Tickets are $20 for members, $25 for non-members.
