Bettye LaVette Releases New EP Online

Bettye LaVette is releasing a new six-song EP exclusively via iTunes download.

LaVette’s new EP, A Change Is Gonna Come Sessions, consists of her take on such jazz standards as “God Bless The Child” and “Lush Life.” She is also including her version of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” which she performed at President Barack Obama’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
